Between Birth and Death


It is not the span between birth and death that is called life,
But the motive and mission achieved, howsoever tough is the strife .

All the days ,months and years without accomplishing the assigned role
Are in vain, no better than wild breeds,yet life is estimated as a whole.

Deeds done, name and fame earned whether in high or low profile ,
Sung as glory,treaded the footprints or murmured the failure and futile.

Despite all, the pious soul shaded in sublimity, unfolded through gentle behaviour,
Is ever remembered and referred to upcoming generations with humbled honour.
