The Plinth and Pillar


The plinth and the pillar of a palace hold the existence of all walls and roof ,
The stature of a person is held by its character and conduct, need no other proof.

Neither money nor power or position, nor any kind of mundane or ethereal miracle
Can make one shine in the golden pages of history ,devoid of ethical rectangle.

Humanity shaded in humbled modesty with truth and trust in each relation
Be never unmindful of the sighs and shrieks of the shrivelled generation.

Let us strengthen the roots of love ,lore and beauty of life in its complicated journey,
To bridge up the gulf between man and man and wipe out their tears, and solace monotony.
